Saint John's Island is also known as Pulau Sakijang Bendera, is one of the southern islands of Singapore. Located approximately 6.5km to the main land of Singapore.

Saint John's Island is also known as Pulau Sakijang Bendera, is one of the southern islands of Singapore. Located approximately 6.5km to the main land of Singapore.
The island is formerly used to housed cholera cases for quarantine purposes from the immigrants in the late 19th century together with the victims of beri-beri. It is also used to house victims of other diseases such as leprosy in the mid 20th century.

Just at the side of St. Jon's Island is the Lazarus Island that can be reach thru the link bridge joining them. You can walk about 10 minutes and you'll be surprise to the white sand cove beach which tourists enjoyed all the time.
Kusu Island
Da Bo Gong Temple
Kusu island is also one of the southern islands of Singapore also known as Pulau Tembakul in Malay. The name "Kusu" means "tortoise". From two tiny outcrops on a reef, the island was enlarged and transformed into an island holiday resort today. It houses the popular Chinese temple - Da Bo Gong or Tua Pek Kong, three kramats (holy shrines of Malay Saints) at the top of rugged hillock of the island and the Tortoise Sanctuary.
